Monumental Cecily Colbert Bowl

This is a wonderfully large pot by renowned New Mexican artist Cecily Colbert . In reality it’s a ceramic sculpture exquisitely incised in a most natural way (Cecily has always been fond of reflecting nature in her work and this pot certainly does that.). Signed and dated 1995. Wonderful condition. It comes with a wrought iron stand which i believe came with the piece. The pot was certainly coil built by hand as is most of Cecily’s work. This pot measures 13” diameter at the top, 14” at the widest, 15” tall. When you receive this pot I think you’ll say “wow, that’s bigger than i thought it would be.”.
