This is a special piece of locally sourced air-dried cherry wood with accents of black walnut and a tad bit of gray birch. We get logs, mill them into slabs, air dry for 2 years and choose special pieces for our menorahs. I took special care to craft this menorah, took way too long but I knew the effort would be worth it in the end. When i brought it home from the cabinet shop my girlfriend was so impressed she gave me an extra special kiss. Its nice to have a nice Jewish girl for inspiration.
