These tiles were made for decorative purposes as well as trivets. Thus the hook on the back for hanging.FYI you can tell the 1950s and 1960s Bennington Pottery by the hand print logo stamped on the bottom as well as Bennington Potters. The earlier 1950s pottery also has “cooperative” stamped on the bottom. This tile is missing one of the foot pads and has some light staining.
