18th Century Hand Carved Burl Mug

We purchased the estate of a retired MIT professor whose life-long passion was collecting antiques. This hand carved burl mug is the first of many excellent pieces to be listed on Abodeon.com. More to come. 40 years of experience leads me to believe this is 18th century American. 6”H and 5” diameter at the top not including handle.
