John Stuart Curved Back Horseshoe Dining Chairs/Pair

Hot off the presses, just finished these at the furniture shop. Pair of fully restored John Stuart dining chairs with new full-grain Italian leather seats. Took these lost puppies home and restored then to life. They’d been well-loved at one time but needed quite a bit of old fashioned love and care. Three coats of custom oil finish, then two coats of buffed wax. Only with wax can you get a soft satin sheen, nothing else can give the same luscious look. These chairs function just fine as occasional chairs, they’re that comfortable.
