Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was an architect, writer and designer. His lifelong collaboration with Louis Poulsen began in 1925 and lasted until his death. Henningsen's pioneering work in lighting explored the relationship between light structures, shadows, glare and color reproduction. These theories are still practiced by Louis Poulsen.
