Designed in 1969 for the blind by Masahiro Mori, each of the cups is uniquely sculpted with tactile depressions and protuberances that fit the curve of the finger.

The set of 6 cups are handcrafted in the finest porcelain by Hakusan Toki in Nagasaki, and are beautifully packaged in a black presentation gift box.

As Japan's most celebrated 20th Century ceramic designer, Masahiro Mori (1927-2005) began redefining modern tableware in the 1950s. In addition to international awards, Mori received Japan's coveted "Good Design" award a record 111 times. Tokyo's National Museum of Modern Art honored his career with the 2002 exhibition, "Masahiro Mori: A Reformer of Ceramic Design".
