Designed in 1957 by Kaj Franck, Lokerovati is a beautiful interior element.  The inverted pyramid compartments makes the bowl suitable for both displaying decorative objects, and serving everything from antipasti to hors d’oeuvres.

Made of bone china by Arabia, Finland.

Kaj Franck (1911-1989) is described as the conscience of Finnish design, removing anything excessive in his objects, and leaving only the essentials. Winning numerous Finnish and international awards, Franck was one of the leading figures of Finnish design between 1940-1980.  His work is in permanent collections of museums around the world.  Some of his most famous tabletop items are the Teema tableware, and the glass series Kartio produced by iittala.
